CATCH ME IF YOU CAN~by Anil Kumar Panda

CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

Image may contain: tree, plant, outdoor and nature

At the far end of the field
The cloud is grazing the sky
In the realm of a serene dawn,
Releasing a rhyme, a stream passes by

Catch me if you can
I am going out from my cosy den

Over dancing wave of crops
A string of birds rise up fast
To get vanished at a distance
Where sky becomes broad and vast

Catch me if you can
The scene is driving me to be insane

Sturdy bulls shake heads
Bells clink around their necks
Lilting buds nod at the bees
As they hover around as tiny specks

Catch me if you can
I am going to roll on the green plain

From a distance grove
Comes dancing sound of a flute
Flitting across the flat meadow
As hills sit as sages, silent and mute

Catch me if you can
When with nature I forget all my pain
