AN ELUDING RACE
It may be a race
My being be feeling to lose
To the selfish & greedy world
For not bothering its hurdles
Seemingly losing interest
In the greedy folks of crowd
Who seem to be fed on
Silver coins, not on bread
Some may be of opinion as
Me just a beaten being
For not living up my dreams
So calm, smiling, no screams
Heard about love so much
Couldn’t really understand yet
Surely not in flesh nor in blood
Hearts may throb in soul’s nod
Wish to be lost in love
Which carries serene space
No greed, no lust, not any race
Only me, you & God’s grace
