A white mans world~by Fred Tunks

A white mans world

What is it like in a
white man’s world
In a white man’s world
I still feel pain
Sometimes my tears
they fall like rain
In a white man’s world
I’ve been knocked down
left cold and lonely
Upon the ground
Like my African brother
I still sweat beneath
a burning sun
Working tirelessly till
the day is done
Like my Indian brother
Like the Sioux and Creed
My heart still breaks
My palms still bleed
Like my Asian brother
I’m born of ash
I’m looking for a
love that last
In a white mans world
In a white mans world
You live you die
Sometimes it seems
you just get by
Battling biased bigotry
and hunger
Dreaming of days when
you were younger
In a white man’s world!
