The Lone Lady sings .
Written by Patrick Kevin O’ Shea 26/09/2017
She stands aside a tree to play . Alone this lady in Codsall today .
She tilt’s her head , under this hamlet sky . As she plucks her strings ,to this sweet lullaby
As i walked on by , so quiet was she . Within a gush of wind , so soft and free .
I could also hear , the wind in breeze . Aside aching boughs , within the trees .
Singing and playing , for all that pass . This sculptured statue , of that young lass
They say sometines , within the wind aloft . You can hear her singing , around this croft .
She plucks her strings for all to see . As she sings her song in harmony .
Inside our village , she loves to play . This lovely lady , in Codsall this day .
