Wilted soul walking~by Christine Butler

Ttarted morning walking with the dogs to chase some blues away and came home with a poem in my head to share!

Wilted soul walking

Image may contain: plant, flower, nature and outdoor

Up early walking, sub tropical warm
fragrant White oak tree, and honey scents swarm
breathing it in, wakes a wilted soul
from complicated grief, desperate to console.
Nurturing thyself, is a gift that keeps giving
and honouring the dead, while one keeps living.
