Basil’s Story
I’m old and I’m senile
and my hearing has gone
I’ve seen fifteen years
and this is my song
At five-thirty each morning
when they’re still asleep
I’ll scream for my breakfast
which makes them all weep
I’ll stick my head out the catflap
in the back door
think I’m in the garden
and wee on the floor
I have lots of white whiskers
and I’m old and quite frail
but I’ve many a story
with you to regale
My name’s Basil Fawlty
Border Terrier cross
This is my story
and I don’t give a toss
