COME BACK~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

Dawn breaks with sunshine smile,
Let’s walk together for a while,
Day will begin in rushing times,
Go over the steep hill climbs,
Crowds will confuse the minds
We will solace in each other find.

Come back again in golden glows,
Crossing the steep hilly slopes,
Trees will be treacherous in rows,
Don’t lose your way on the crossroads,
Behind the dark caves lions roars,
Malicious tongues eat grey smokes.

Twilight falls will magic create,
Barriers of roads will in tides mate,
Twisted lanes are lovers fate,
Wolves in red cars will love fake,
Under the streetlight I shall wait.

Beyond the wall things will explode,
Trucks of loneliness will be on load,
Nothingness is an expensive affair,
Beware of Machiavelli Prince stare,
Roadside Romeo’s tempted dare,
Just don’t forget your day is fair.

When dawn turns to dusk ,
Memories of love never fade to dust,
The distance might confuse at first,
But meeting of lovers is a must,
So there is no need to make a fuss,
Nothing trivial can lead to distrust.
