CHOIR OF COLOURS ~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

CHOIR OF COLOURS

Magical colours cast a spell all day ,
It rains like faith on every heart to stay.
Crimson sun at dawn’s,golden saffron dusks,
Orange yellow sky, night purple black husks.

Flower blooms splash vibrantly in Spring
Pink leaves green have freedom wings.
Women dress in love of enchanting colours,
Peacocks dance in rain in thousand feathers.

Rainbow arc’s above after heavy showers,
Clouds display hues of grey in stormy weather,
Timber mountains roll towards green hills,
White brooks flow in blue clear streams.

Men of taste in sartorial shades of ceremony,
Precious gems and pearls shining jewels many,
Colour is the fruit of life’s adventurous vibration,
Mysterious language of dream’s celebration.

Light to dark transforming soul search,
Overcoming pain in blissful “Midas touch”.
Beauty of colour is symphony of a song,
Music of choir where everyone sings along.
