Somewhere the cry of the newborn
Somewhere the cry of the mother
who lost her first born

Somewhere a bride getting ready
for her first night

Somewhere a woman sending her
husband to fight for the motherland
hiding her tears between her eyelids!

Somewhere a baby is thrown
In the garbage bin

Somewhere a woman praying
to be blessed with a child

Somewhere man spending huge amounts enjoying wine and women

Somewhere cry of hungry children
for a morsel and warm clothes

Somewhere rich children playing with beautiful toys and computer gadgets

Somewhere the poor children
crying for colourful balloons

Somewhere girls crying with the trauma of gang rape

Somewhere doctors saving lives of
suffering

Somewhere people crying for help
of doctors

Somewhere people are hurrying
hoarding while many go empty stomach and naked

Somewhere someone trying to
go up in politics by stamping the poor

Somewhere youth with no education getting high paid jobs

Somewhere the highly educated youth wandering on streets for jobs

Somewhere a girl crying for her
love who cheated on her

Somewhere flower sellers waiting
for buyers of red roses for lovers

Somewhere people buying wreaths
for the dead

Somewhere a sacred fire for a marriage

Somewhere the blazing bodies
on the Ganges !
