Daily missive for Monday the 16th of April.
Gas and Air.

No matter the washing or
The wringing of hands
With eyes averted
To avoid the scene
Deny a truth
Blood stains.
Rinse out the bowl
Run fresh water freely
Crystal clear
From a mountain stream
To soak your sins
Blood stains.
Fly high the eagle
Watch it swoop
On the unwitting
Rabbit caught in
The limelight
Blood stains.
Throw out the rags
Wrap yourself in pure wool
Expensive clothing
Of your choice
You are still a wolf
Biting back is what you do
And blood stains.
