WHEN YOU WALK AWAY~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

WHEN YOU WALK AWAY

Image may contain: one or more people

I have tried so hard to breathe deeply
Air suffocates my lungs painstakingly
A storm lurks in my throat dangerously
My heart starts beating erratically.

When you are not anywhere around
Dark clouds over my head surround
I am addicted to feel your sound
You have totally ruined me I found.

I just want peace and happy times
I want to stop being your dimes
Your dreams are my stars of the night
I would empty the sky for your light.

You break my heart everyday
You destroy my soul when you say
Love puts too much pressure to stay
Your spirit is free when you walk away.

Red roses you gave silently weep
Fragrance of dying breath sleeps
Dried petals are of beauty bereft
On frozen times it cruelly settles.
