Intimate~by Mary Gosling

Intimate

Image may contain: one or more people and people sitting

I have an endless faith and trust,
in the depth of your calm sea,
the steady beating carries me,
your waves,
they set my breathing,
free,
and the truth – unfolds,
it must.

The tears behind a wall that harms,
old hurts I stashed and held,
the wrongs, I haven’t dealt,
with him,
in me, the woman yearns,
becoming,
in your arms.

Yesterday buried, tomorrow will be fine,
but I just crawled away from storm,
my skin feels raw, naked, new born,
I’m standing still..
you breathe,
I soothe,
the fingers searching,
mine.
