LILLY IN LOVE~by Balachandran Nair

Wriggle, giggle Lotus in ecstacy
As you, Sun, spray ray on lake limpidly
It swirl, whirl with thrill fill soul
As you randomly pour love lumenal.
The joy, shy reflect on its petals
Gifted are they, become gift to Gods!
I, whom you lovingly call Water Lilly, care,
Wear a bluish violet raiment rare
Tinted by your own ultra-violet glare.
Privately fondly in moon lit flit
I look at you with gleeful gale fit
Now or never its time you tell all:
They’re not, I’m your lone love call
As amongst all lilicious crowd around
I’m like red little spot on forehead
I suppress pure love in soul’s altar
Suffer smother, smoulder…dip in
lake water!
