WHETHER I LOVE YOU~by Jyotirmaya Thakur

When you ask me whether I love you?
I get mixed up and very confused ,
For love as a word has been so abused,
These questions on emotions overused.

When I breathe I don’t see the air,
That I inhale or exhale to live,
But when you see me I know I am fair
Will your doubt ever cease?

Whether it is you or the breeze around,
Like creepers your arms surround,
My body feels like a tree on the ground,
A bouquet of blossoms scents profound.

I wonder in nights totally vagrant,
Is it your love that keeps me fragrant?
Give me some time to think aloud,
Silence only misleads me to your sound.

In midst of cacophonies of company,
Why do I feel lonely among so many?
If breathing is my lively existence?
I exist in love for you as an evidence.
