Parody of love~by Hela Tekali

Parody of love

Image may contain: 1 person, text

Sprays of moonlight drifted into my face
Night hues chiselled in my skin
My heart had been taken from me
Shadows of light were touching and driven away from me.

Now this ghost of grace I could not grasp
Kisses were thrown into my pillows
I could not grip their hugs
So I squeezed them tightly in my poetry.

I was flirting with darkness yet unseen
The light descending from heaven on my skin
It pushed its orchestra to perform inside my eyes
A lullaby of light and darkness to lead to my reincarnation.

A parody of love was this symphony of light
Its Silent music hugged me at twilight
I could not seize it nor take hold of its message
It became the crescent of my philosophy , its healthy dense foliage.
