Read me if you can~by Hela Tekali

Read me if you can

Image may contain: night

Read me if you can
I am your consciousness you never grasp
Your eyes crave for the dark
But your heart longs for the light
Read me if you can
I may sleep inside you
Then I come to you in the shape of a dream
I may appear truer than what you see
For my imagination is sweeter than your lullaby
Read me if you can
I am the love done to you
By the ink of my finest pen
Those lines of my poetry
Are dancing through your mind
To their sensuality you can’t be blind
Read me if you can
I hide deep in your consciousness
Dive deep into your “I”
Share the secrets of your nothingness
I am in love with your emptiness
Read me if you can
I will take off those curtains
To leave no ‘gap’ between you and me.
