So you’re feeling sorry, that diamond is way too much.

You know you will feel better, if only you could touch.

Your life will truly end and you will never be the same.

You just have to have that diamond, or you will go insane!

After all your entire image just has to be maintained.

To face your friends without it would just bring you shame.

Your week has been traumatic; you missed your tennis match.

While putting on your bracelet, you went and broke the latch.

You have your hair and nails done, on schedule once a week.

You had to cancel that, the car had sprung a leak.

You don’t know if you can handle this along with all the stress.

Without all this it’s not worth living, as you call your psychiatrist!

So you’re feeling sorry, you missed a night out with the boys.

But, the Mercedes that you ordered comes with all the toys!

You don’t know if you can stand it, won’t be in for two more days.

You have to put off all your plans, you made to go away.

Your life can’t get much worse, can’t stand all these delays.

What terrible thing will happen next, that’s sure to come your way.

You went to get a haircut and the barber shop was closed.

The stress is starting to increase as you’re off to buy new clothes.

After all the shopping you just have to rest a bit.

With all the tension building up, you feel you have to sit.

You don’t know if you can handle this along with all the stress.

Without all this it’s not worth living, as you call your psychiatrist!

I feel sorry for those types that I have mentioned just above.

Chances are they go through life not knowing how to love.

I might not have those other things, but I will tell you this.

I have my families love and that will always top my list.

I value all the little things, not taking them for granted.

For when I leave this world I will not be empty handed.

I will know the meaning that this life has given me.

To appreciate each second, with all its beauty there is to see.

Even though I can’t do the things, it will not get me down.

A smile is much more giving, than to wear a sorry frown.

Next time your feeling sorry, this question you should ask.

“Have I treasured all life’s moments?” For you will never get them back.
