POEM “MANIAC COP” by martin gedge

Image may contain: one or more people

I wear a badge I carry a gun
I’m not for ones in need
I walk the beat through every street
and let the city bleed
I do possess what those detest
a face all scarred and burned
it is my mark as night goes dark
to hand out lessens learned
I am the storm to which I brew
upon society
unleashing out what I’m about
a cop hypocrisy
I face each day for which I may
brand a stain in life
as tight as glove I truly love
to wipe you from my knife
I am a devil sorted kind
I do believe in pain
a 911 is so much fun
to watch me go insane
my blood as blue and soldier true
my brawn is 8 feet thick
you can’t escape my temper break
that clings my whipping stick
I’m am the beast out in the heat
and chances I won’t stop
from head to toe as shadows go
I’m not your average cop
but if you need to cry for help
I suggest you scream and shout
I’ll take the time to ease your mind
and gladly take you out…
