Daily missive for Wednesday the 19th of September.~by Peter Forster

Daily missive for Wednesday the 19th of September.

A lasting temptation
Know nothing
Do less
Fear exposure
More than life
There is no weight in this
Old windbag
Lighter than air
Blown away
By the merest breeze
Gossamer thin
Barely solid
Slipping into
Transparency
It is so easy to see
Through
The bluff and bluster
Words are cheapened
When scattered
Thoughtlessly
Thrown mindfully
Confetti
Is more than
A sprinkle of gold dust
It is a twinkle
In the eye of a child
Face pressed
Against a window
Lost
In a moment of wonder
At the sight of a man
Dressed up
In a red suit
Pretending to be Santa
How will I know
What to say
If someone asks
What I believe
When I am lost
Between not knowing
And what to do.
