THE VOW~by Mhizta Chisom

Image may contain: one or more people

alone was my walk along that silent street
Our eyes locked but not a tone was spit
Could hearts be kindled like they twinkle
Upon a fairly heart have I found skips

Like always love stories are fairy tales
Nothing but a mist on earth’s surface
It seems to be mirage but closely I feel
If it be dream I should wake now

Upon our second gaze was a date
We’ve being there before we lost sights
One with other was our young path
My childhood bestie is my date

God watched we never knew
felt the young love was kept to unfold
Our entwined lines never broke
Our kid minds with the vow censored

The alter called the bell was heard
Like Lillie Lillie we matched the base
Not for words spoken we had passed
We walked the aisle renewing vows
