Serenity

Serenity is getting
your toes wet and
warm in the sand
Photographs and
strolling along some
morning on a quite
and secluded beach
Serenity is gazing
Into her enchanting eyes
and having been blessed
with her beautiful smile
Serenity is her hand in
mine, butterflies in
flight and drinking
Red Wine when drenching
our lips inside lingering kisses
Serenity is an olive tree
providing the shade for her
and me as we lay out
in the grass in the morning
air listen to birds singing
in the air above us
Serenity is just knowing
you care about the flowers
I picked for your hair
Serenity is believing we’ll
stand up to the course
of time my heart with
your heart and your
heart with mine!
