This smiling face that you see
Do you think this is me
You may see me smiling
But inside I am dying
But you can never tell
My smiles hide it very well
You might see a smiling face
But that smile may be out of place
If you care to take a close look
Maybe you’ll be able to read me like a book
And see my demons inside
If you look into my eyes
But maybe I don’t want you to see
The person that is the real me
Should i reveal myself,I don’t know
Not sure if I want my demons to go
So if you can see beyond this mask
And is not afraid to ask
And if you really care
Maybe I’ll show you what’s under there
