Back in “Bag End”~by Manuel Renaud

Back in “Bag End”

Image may contain: plant, outdoor and nature

A sun at the end of the day
The big and old house
Whole lights of season warm
I would have so much to tell
The Shire as such
A world of gardens and fields
Out of time the place within
Where are living the ones I love
Land of forests and lakes
Of still and sweet paths
Peace in the sky and everywhere
Some are talking about legends
About a well-balanced earth
Where the heart is feeling free
As far as the eye can see
Our hands are stretching out
So they can touch all the rivers
All these bouquets on the tables
Would it only be simple fables…?
Flowery stories of winter nights…?
A nonsense poem
Muttered by a madman
Over and over again…?
So much tales, so much words written
Lost dreams that nothing stops
A grimoire at the bottom of the bag
No useless luggage
And the story starts again
As I’m back in “Bag End”
