THAT TINGLY FEELING

You know that tingly feeling
you get in your chest
the one that leaves you breathless
that heart skipping beat
that sweeps you off your feet
that makes your heart flutter
all you can do is mutter
that makes your knees wobbly and weak
you can hardly speak
feels like falling to the ground
when that special one is around
puts you in a dreamy daze
all you can do is just gaze
feelings are all over the place
a silly grin on your face
well that tingly feeling
that sends you reeling
is a message from your brain
keeping you from going insane
straight to your heart
warning you not to let feelings start
silent words that are spoken
to save your heart from being broken
that tingly feeling
may be false or true
and it’s all up to you
to let it grow and bloom
or cause heartache and doom
go with the flow
and let it grow
or take a chance
and start a romance
but whatever you do
it’s up to you
let common sense prevail
and maybe it will not fail.
we would all like to start believing
in THAT TINGLY FEELING.
