if you love me
you may need to be patient

as i am currently weak
i won’t reach back out to you
when you reach out to me
but keep doing it anyway
i won’t believe you
when you tell me sweet things
but keep saying them anyway
i won’t eagerly caress you back
when you caress me
but keep touching me anyway
