POEM ” BLOOD HOUND ” written by martin gedge

A million moons of blister red
a breed of flesh and skin
a darken fold that shall behold
to wear my demons grin
the reaping call as shadows fall
will birth rise to the beast
to breathe in ripe like gutter snipe
to rip into it’s feast
so bitter kind to feed on mine
to strike a peasants pound
for streets to flood to rush with blood
and seep the vagrant ground
and like the wind a howling sin
will siren in the black
and those who dare will often bare
the claws upon the back
and turn aside for those who hide
to gladly sink the grief
for mortal fools who lack the tools
to show their bullet teeth
so fast and deep just go to sleep
but wink of either eye
my bark will bite into the night
to rest where dreamers die…….
