 Bondage Abated.~by Benedixio Moore Khoti

 Bondage Abated.

Image may contain: cloud and sky

Breaking loose
From the shackles of distance
Where my dreams
Layed scattered
Like broken pieces
Of shattered glass spread across
The hard face of concrete floor.

At the break of dawn
Just
When a glistening beam
Of sunlight
Penetrates the fray
Of grey clouds,
I manage to board
A life – changing voyage
With my case chokful
Of pedantic hope
And escape the claws of time
When
Time stole my shine
With each step
Of its brave heartbeat
That roused agonizing moments
of strange loud silence
Like peals of thunder
That
Then
Wandered in the deep end
Of my heart.

With my heart unshackled
From the chains of Quietude
And lonliness,
I no longer soak my hearts ears
With melodic sad songs of tears
That cried her rivers
Of loves enticing sounds
Like a splash
of many waters.

Dancing in the peacock blue
Eyes
Of phantasy
I cruise on waves
Of sweet ecstasy
In far away lands
Where fake love exists not
So i rest a free soul
With scratched emotions
From the claws
Of Beauty.
