A FESTIVE SIGN

It’s a festive sign
to sing for a violet heart
as its color blocks sources of joy

Since birth
I’ve been a violet mirth
as the corruption of truth fears me
and hesitates to subjugate my heart.

But now
I’m in a spring mood
I’m in a festive mood
preparing myself to bath in the sun

No cloud hides your smile
when laughter of mine opens the sky
to drop stars to your gloomiest eyes
growing a strong confidence between us.
