COLLECTION: MUSINGS OF A LONE WOLF
TITLE: IF I DIE TODAY
If I die today,
Please remember me,
For I was a valiant soldier,
A survivor
That conquered the barrels and guns
I was trapped in the storms
But I was never belittled,
As I went beyond the norms
To scale the hurdles………………
If I die today,
Remember me,
I was a broken and shattered soul,
In my imperfections,
I strove so hard to please the world,
I only ended up displeasing everyone,
Do not judge my deeds
For on my filthy garment,
I strove so hard
To set things right…………………
If I die today
Remember me
I would never be seen again
On the day of death,
There shall be no bargain,
In this life,
What were the gains,
After enduring the pains?
Remember my sacrifices
For the service of humanity
Remember how I fought
Valiantly with my pen and paper
I was a voice to the voiceless,
And a fighter in
This jungle……………….
If I die today,
Remember me
And how I climbed
The highest mountains,
And I drowned in the
Deepest valleys,
Remember my strides
Amidst the tides
For in this ocean of despair,
I was broken beyond repairs,
But in the life after,
I shall be free from the worries and cares
Of this worldly cadence………………………
If I die today,
Please remember the struggles
I’ve been through,
And the toggles
That I overcame
For I was a born legend
In the world beyond,
I shall be welcomed as a King,
And a lost son
Who found his way home……………………
If I die today,
Remember me
And heed the words of my pen,
For they were lens
That preached my story
And listen to the musings
Of this ink forever………………………….
