“MORBID HILL” ~by Martin Gedge‎

POEM “MORBID HILL” written by martin gedge

Image may contain: sky, cloud, outdoor and nature

Here that lies on morbid hill
where evil lurks its shell
the cracks and walls have hidden voids
down to the sunken well
release the hounds that breed the grounds
afoot the steely chain
and black of eye for those who die
to spin into insane
unleash the beast on dirty backs
it’s teeth to soak with meat
a gnarly grin like pulling skin
from skull to scrawny feet
and there to mark the killer dark
as blood to paint the brick
the chilly cold and breath you hold
is leaving from you quick
a wheel chair so pale and fair
will sit the wicked soul
upon the throne a smile stone
will watch them fill the hole
and slam the door to see no more
the chamber and the pit
to lock the latch and light the match
and watch the bodies spit……….
