Gambling Calculus*~by Constancio Sulapas Asumen Jr

(Opus466 ~> Gambling Calculus)
You play the lottery right on schedule;
For it you get the badge of foolishness;
They hurl at you derisive ridicule;
Deriding the method to your madness,
Losses on dice tosses grace the business:
You get rich not, saving two bucks per day;
You might get rich enticing luck your way!
Gambling calculus rings ridiculous;
It derails your zealous expectations.
Making you anxious to feel fabulous,
It fuels your wildest imaginations
And nullifies righteous indignations:
Barring the risk of losing property,
Two bucks a day risks no worse poverty!
It’s not uncouth to covet a windfall;
Just avoid making it an obsession.
Nor is it couth to loathe when you get all;
When you do, proclaim a celebration;
Omit all prospects for consternation:
Factors are these, missed in your calculus;
Making the gambling less than noble cause!
