….for if I was a child
I would run 
…..with all my might

always running
……away from life

for in you
…..I could see a life to sight

that filled me
……with all the love inside

a love unequalled
……in it to fight

the adversaries of life
……in to light

the path of love
…..in its heaven to ride

fight me o life
……with all your slight

in you I am not bitter
……bitter is my life

when I looked at you
……with all my right

you looked away from me

…….was I wrong
we’re you right

I ask
…….as I alight

on God’s terrain
…….with him in my life

take me with you
…….to that heaven

where life lives
……in all it’s light

never to blind me
……in its light

…..always smiling
in its eyes
……with my eyes
