(Verse 1)

Jimmy was a loser a bonafide abuser

broken every rule in the book

and sheila was a teaser but jimmy couldn’t please her

she wouldn’t give him a second look

then one too many rides on a one way suicide

an alcoholic rendezvous

his eyes are seeing red pull the covers from her bed

her face painted black and blue

now jimmy’s on the run like a bullet from a gun

breaking chains and street city signs

his dirty fingers played in this foolish masquerade

bound for life for seeing his crimes

and no ones gonna get in his way

it ain’t no holiday

and no ones gonna stop him now

it’s not a game you play

(chorus)

he’s out of control on the edge of insane

caught in the middle of a hurricane

wind in his face and the driving rain

running for his life .on high octane

( high octane)

(verse 2)

creeping through the night out of breath and out of sight

racing against the arm of the law

a killer with a fuse a locomotive loose

kicking every brick in the wall

and though the end is near with nothing left to fear

jimmy puts it all on the line

his itchy finger shakes on the trigger that he breaks

snaps a cap in the back of his mind

(chorus)

he’s out of control on the edge of insane

caught in the middle of a hurricane

wind in his face and the driving rain

running for his life .on high octane

( high octane)

(Bridge)

your a joker in the deck

in a game you can’t win

playing a dead mans hand

when the odds are stacked

and you step on a crack

your never gonna get it back again

(music -guitar solo)

(chorus)

he’s out of control on the edge of insane

caught in the middle of a hurricane

wind in his face and the driving rain

running for his life .on high octane

( high octane)
