She didn’t die from a broken heart ~by Nalini Starr

She didn’t die from a broken heart

She didn’t die from a broken heart
She thought she was going to
When she fell madly in love with you
She didn’t want to exist
When you broke her heart to bits
Her heart was broken it’s true
She thought by you
But she broke her own heart
By falling in love with you
She thought you were her one and only
And no one else would do
But then she realized
That this wasn’t true
So she didn’t die from a broken heart
She survived to make a brand new start.

  1. Why don’t you send this to others, so other people can see how they could try to make a new start, as the last line of this poem says.

    • most work posted here are from my blog on FB so we get a good showing approx 12.000 viewers and growing!

      • My question is, why won’t you spread your work to other outlets than FB? I know your not scared of rejection, so what is it?

      • my two groups keep me plenty busy, I am by myself and reading all and reposting I simply do not have time for another group. thank YOU!!
