A horde of thieves hearing a thief’s arrears,
Invites the flourish for much prejudice,
Build ramparts for a thieving edifice:
Pain paradigm, once given sanctity
Endures through time, to gain nobility!

Honor among thieves, resounds the cliché;
Gets endowed with redemptive avatar;
Operatives dispensing bonhomie,
Know just how speculations gone too far
Can leave one needless, lasting, ugly scar:
When push comes to shove, waxing judgmental
No time to waste; vexing sentimental!

With jury of peers dispensing judgment,
Never expect getting more leniency;
Nor rely on one paltry argument
Breaching the ramparts into clemency
To redefine thresholds of normalcy:
Professionals proclaim vaunted standards;
Lest be acclaimed wild concord of retards!
