Daily missive breaks into the weekend for Saturday the 4th of May.

There is simplicity
In the subtleties of nature
Even complications
Have a rationale
Cobwebs span
A flight path
Invisible to the naked eye
Unless hung
With morning dew
Red deer will rut
To win their mate
Big cats cast out
Young males but still
Take pride
In family values
Shepherds tend their flock
To keep them safe
But sheep will follow
Anyone who leads
Them home
There is more to this
Than mere survival
It is joint enterprise
Unconscious collusion
The bird will eat the fruit
And pass the seed
Maggots feast on flesh
And break it down
It is more than chance
It is an earth song
Let it play on.
