” THE POWDER ROOM”~by Martin Gedge

POEM ” THE POWDER ROOM” by martin gedge

Image may contain: 1 person

Pretty girls with wavy curls

miss Lucy diamond eyes

dressed in colors fresh as flowers

like bouquet rainbow skies

sweet and tender hearts surrender

skin so silky white

a beauty mark to light a spark

to dance into the night

and winds of kissing while your wishing

stars to shoot the moon

rainy weathers soft as feathers

powders up your room

and sunshine glow as gardens grow

your sanctuary of love

as crisp and clean a new born dream

sends passions from above

and in the fold like treasures hold

with certain grace and charm

a prince to stand the lucky man

the pleasures of your arm…
