” SHIPWRECK SHORE “~by Martin Gedge

POEM ” SHIPWRECK SHORE ” by martin gedge

Image may contain: cloud, sky, outdoor and nature

Set a sail on winds of gale to toss a surging sea
and put in scope your pride and hope to where your heart should be
upon the blue a sunset view as wild as life can be
to find that beauty lies beyond the beach
she breaks upon the waves of every tide from ocean floor
she’s more then just a treasure and the pleasure you adore
you throw a sailors anchor like a shipwreck on the shore
in knowing that your lovers within in reach
it’s the compass of your passion through a stormy windy night
the course that knows your action with the length and strength you fight
the light of your attraction in the dark to steer you right
to find a true soul mate and take her hand
a tower beam of brightness from a lighthouse on the hill
the face to shine her likeness with her love that beats you still
to reply onto her message with a bottle you fulfill
just to walk into her castle made of sand….
