Mr. Bottle~by rldubour

Mr. Bottle

Image result for empty bottle and wedding ring on barroom bar

As I sit here alone in a bar room

On my finger there is a wedding band.

I know she is home right beside him

She is there with another man.

So you ask me Mr. Bottle, How is my world today/

Let me tell you, she up and walked away.

So took away the best part of my living

So, Mr. Bottle, just give me what you’re giving.

As I sit here in a bar room

On my finger there is a wedding band.

The reflection from that bar room mirror

Tells me I can’t go home again

So you ask me Mr. Bottle, How is my world today?

Let me tell you, I had better days.

I went and lost the best part of my living

So, Mr. Bottle, just give me what you’re giving.

As I sit here alone in a bar room

On my finger there is a wedding band.

I see that Mr. Bottle is empty

Like the wedding band, I just took off my hand.

So you ask me Mr. Bottle, How is my world today?

Let me tell you, my world has gone away.

And now your empty and have nothing more worth giving

So. Mr. Bottle, there is nothing left for living.
