Once was a Cowboy out riding the range~by Fred Tunks

Once was a Cowboy out riding the range

Image may contain: 1 person, hat

Once was a Cowboy out riding the range

Kind of a loner some thought him strange
Though these are the ways of a Cowboys life
Never had time for kids and a wife

Once was a Cowboy and such was his strife

Riding the mountains through wind,
sleet and snow
Ninety above or twenty below
Alone with the Chestnut look for strays
No matter it sunny or cold rainy days

Once was a Cowboy and such were his ways

Up every morning each day before dawn
Building a campfire to make coffee on
Bedroll tied thight on the pommel of his saddle
Cowboys without rest don’t find many cattle

Once was a Cowboy and the Cowboy knows

Mountains and Horses are best for mens Souls!
