The Lighthouse Tower
She stands alone in solitude upon the rocky shore.
Where once her beacon used to shine, but does not shine no more.
Her days of work been put aside, her beacon now at rest
She no longer feels alive but, knows she has past the test.
The test of time that she stood, warning of the dangers.
To all the living souls that passed be it friend or stanger.
She stood her vigil constantly never showing fear
Just to protect all that passed where she stool for all the years.
Like our life around us, for it will someday end
That’s what we have in common, our beacon will cease to send.
Will cease to send that message that would protect us all.
The lighthouse tower darkened, the silence seems to call
Only left is memories and the echoes of the wind
Of how the beacon lights did shine, and will never shine again.
Compare the tower beacon light to your very own.
Can you say you used it right with your family and your home.
Use your beacon light to shine and hold your family dear
To show them love and teach them right and protect them from their fears.
That beacon in the lighthouse tower is in our very being.
That light that shines upon your face is what everybody seeing.
The lighthouse beacon darkened we can here her say
Use your beacon light to shine on loved ones everyday.
This old lighthouse standing here has finally met her fate
Use your beacon light to shine, before it is too late.
She stands alone in solitude, upon the rock shore.
Where once her beacon use to shine, but does not shine no more!
