Can It Be But Memories~by rldubour

Can It Be But Memories

Time flies, but memories last forever.

Blown by the wind a kiss by the sea.
And all that’s left is the dawn.
Remember me, Oh remember me.
The clouds in the sky bring tears to my eyes.
Can it be but memories?

The wind keeps on saying for me I am praying.
Remember me, Oh remember me.
How does love grow? Nobody knows.
The answer is there somewhere.

The answer all scholars will seek to define.
And for me I just pray for the day you’ll be mine.
Till then I will face each day with a smile.
For I know in my heart you are only gone for a while.
When dawn turns to dusk, I won’t make a fuss.
For I still have my memories, my memories of us.
