Mister Bottle

Image result for man sitting at bar with empty bottle

As I sit her alone in the bar room.
On my finger there is a wedding band.
I know she is home sitting beside him.
Yes, she’s sitting there with another man.
So you ask me Mr. Bottle, how is my world today?
Let me tell you, she up and walked away.
She took away the best part of living.
So Mr. Bottle just give me what you’re giving.
So Mr. Bottle just give me what you’re giving.

As I sit here alone in the bar room.
On my finger there is a wedding band.
And the reflection from the bar room mirror.
Tells me that I can’t go home again.
So you ask me Mr. Bottle, how is my world today?
Let me tell you, that I had better days.
I went and lost the best part of living.
So Mr. Bottle just give me what you’re giving.
So Mr. Bottle just give me what you’re giving.

As I sit there alone in the bar room.
On my finger there is a wedding band.
And I see that Mr. Bottle is almost empty.
Like the wedding band, I just took off my hand.
So you ask me Mr. Bottle, how is my world today?
Let me tell you, my world has gone away.
And now you’re empty and have nothing more worth giving.
So, Mr. Bottle there is nothing left for living.
So, Mr. Bottle there is nothing left for living.
