Abraham Lincoln y John F. Kennedy coincidencias - Info en Taringa!

 

Both were elected to Congress
A coincidence from the start.
The years ending in forty-six
Exactly one-hundred years apart!

Lincoln became our president
In eighteen-hundred and sixty
John F. Kennedy took his oath
One-hundred years precisely.

The names Lincoln and Kennedy
They both contain seven letters.
If this has caught your interest
Read on it will get better.

Both were concerned with civil rights,
Both lost a child in the White House.
They were both shot on a Friday
While they sat next to their spouse.

Both Presidents shot in the head
Their assassins were Southerners.
Both assassins known by three names
They acted alone with no others.

Lincoln’s secretary’s name was Kennedy
Warned Abe not to go to the show.
Kennedy’s secretary’s name was Lincoln
Warned John to Dallas not to go.

Both assassins’ name, each contains
The number of fifteen letters.
Booth was born in eighteen-thirty-nine
Oswald was one century later.

Booth shot Lincoln in a theater
Inside a warehouse he was caught.
Oswald’s shot came from a warehouse
To hide in a theater he had sought.

Both Booth and Oswald were gunned down
Both were dead before their trials.
All the events of both assassins
Recorded in F.B.I. files.

Each successor’s name was Johnson
Both were from the southern states.
Both were born one century apart
Andrew and Lyndon, the years O eight.

Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
