INSULATED ENIGMA

By the Mighty Mumford

Enigma filled with snow,

Melting very slow…

Sand and dirt

Insulating work,

Winter refuses to go!

Miniature snow spires,

With crud on top requires…

Long warm days

Till snow betrays,

Crud on top and expires.

Smaller and smaller shrivel,

Snow banks by daylight piddle…

Innerds of ice

Refreeze nice,

When darkness day warmth dwindles!

Suddenly pile of dirt,

Remains of winter’s work…

For a street sweep

Pick up and keep,

Till next year’s  blizzard alert!
