SHADOW LOVE
Why do men oft go astray
From a stable marriage okay…
When their eyes are caught
By another girl fraught
With danger in the frey.
The man and wife move on,
The woman a-tempting is gone…
But the man hangs tight
To a vision “just right,”
A fantasy desired spawn.
An IDEA of love is the key,
When life’s not as he wants it to be…
But the time to let go
Is as soon as you know
With your wife is where you should be.
A fantasy woman is fine
If a husband ‘don’t’ cross the line…
Your mind is your wife’s
And your body for life,
One’s moral thought life needs a spine!
Too many marriages today
Consider fantasy okay,
Being one in the flesh
Means even minds have to mesh
It’s stupid throwing a marriage away!
