Mexican night~by rldubour

Mexican night

Welcome to my kitchen
The menu for tonight
A spicy hot entrée
A Mexican delight.

My goal is to impress
So let me show you how
First is the ingredients
The list I’ll start right now.

Begin with shredded cheddar
Taquitos corn or flour
A cuisine for a queen
All within an hour.

One bag of shredded lettuce
One ripe avocado
Can cube or slice to theme.

One eight ounce jar of salsa
And one small onion chopped
Two diced up tomatoes
Salt to taste~now you can stop.

Prepare the Taquitos
Directions on the box
This is her favorite dish
I’m such a clever fox.

Sour cream and salsa
Mix well in a bowl
Place the hot Taquitos
On a plate to behold.

Sprinkle with shredded cheese
With sliced or cubed avocado’s
Top with shredded lettuce
Onions and tomatoes

Take the cream and salsa
And drizzle right on top
Checking the Horchata
For chill before you stop.
