The Prints Of Peace

The stripes He received on His back
The crown of thorns that was
Forcibly rammed on His head
The hammer and three rusty nails
The wounds in His sides from the soldiers spears
All open a fountain of grace released
When those scars became the “Prints of Peace”
Let me touch the wounds in His side
Let me kiss the scars in His hands and feet
Let me touch all the scars on His back
Let me caress His brow that’s scarred
From the thorns where He bled for me
As I kneel down and worship at Jesus feet
