From the cocoon to Butterfly..~by Akshaya Kumar Das

From the cocoon to Butterfly..

A caterpillar freezes itself inside the cocoon.
after devouring all the green leaves of the garden.
A smoky layered small cocoon starts showing its face.
it is an womb, the cocoon.
the womb pregnant with the foetus of the butterfly.
A Beautiful cocoon looks so rough so tough.
nature creates camouflage fear to touch.
From the cocoon to a beautiful butterfly.
An ephemeral journey of silence.
How strange the ordeals of Mother Nature are.
A beautifully coloured moth wearing a velvet silky garb
moves from flower to flower romancing with the petals.
when it slips into the partners’ embrace
that eggs were dropped and the womb of the cocoon
started growing.
Amazing colours , Amazing moths, Amazing looks
Amazing butterfly…
life is so ephemeral,,so short …just can’t perceive.
A wish in mind takes birth,
In my next birth if I could take the wings of the butterfly
and live ephemeral.
life would be so short, so pleasant.
A feeling of oblivion,
journey to the eternity..
journey to the abysmal.
