Shallow Graves~by Norman Wilson

Shallow Graves

Sobbing tears
No longer hiding fears
Women wailing
As war is still prevailing

There is so much pain
As they cry everyday
Where everything just seems
To be slipping away

From spirits once strong
Where I must confess
At one time seemed bright
Before the dropping of Russian bombs

Now they weep for all things
Bringing tears to their eyes
For the hurt they see and hear
As a quarter million innocent people have died

A generation of youth
The women cry for today
Mothers of children
For those who no longer able to play

There is a world of shallow graves
Brought about by the depraved
While the few remaining children
Try to hide or run away

Under the guns of demon sons
they leave tears in their tracks
In a war where there is no calling, take backs
For the children now lie in shallow graves
